If something or someone pivots, they balance or turn on a central point. What does it mean to pivot in life? Pivots in your life or career can signify turning points that bring about meaningful change and opportunity as well as uncertainty. They might include starting on a different path which opens new beginnings you did not even know existed. “We fail the minute we let someone else define success for us.” - Brene Brown, Dare to Lead Not every woman wants to run her own business and not everyone woman wants to work for someone else. And right now, careers are really flexing so some of us are launching new businesses or getting back into the corporate world or joining a non-profit or applying for a position not on our “career path” or just taking a break to care for children or other family members. We are every woman and when we take control of our career, everyone wins. Are you ready to pivot? Join SD CEO West as we bring together inspiring women who will share how they made their own pivots and created significant changes in their career: Keynote Speakers From Intrapreneur to Entrepreneur - Lt. Col. Monika Johncour, the 28th Bomb Wing Director of Staff at Ellsworth Air Force Base.
