Event Description:
Neutrino Day would be impossible without our exceptional volunteers. This year, Sanford Underground Research Facility’s free science festival will still offer an impressive collection of speakers, activities, and tours this July, but we’ll all be meeting in a digital space.
Things will look a little different as we host Neutrino Day 2020: A Matter Mystery online, but we’ll still be counting on your support.
So what do we need from you?
Your enthusiasm and excitement for this event is needed more than ever this year! Our activities will begin on Monday, July 6 and go through Saturday, July 11, with new and exciting events each day. There will be interactive challenges, interviews with scientists and Education and Outreach activities. Our keynote speaker and science comedian, Brian Malow, will be participating all week. We will be counting on our extraordinary volunteers to spread the word and get everyone involved!

Next, tell your friends! Tell your family and your coworkers and your neighbors. It’s also a great chance to reach people from out-of-town. Anyone, from anywhere, will be able to participate this year without having to travel to Lead – and maybe introducing them to our event will encourage them to attend in-person next year!
