Event Description:
You’re invited to a powerful and eye-opening community experience—the Lead Area Hunger Banquet. Join us Tuesday, May 12th at 5:30 PM at Historic Homestake Opera House as we partner with Northern Hills SOS for this interactive event focused on raising awareness about poverty and food insecurity in our communities.Participants will take part in a shared meal experience where they are randomly assigned to different socioeconomic groups—offering a meaningful glimpse into the realities many individuals and families face every day.
This event is FREE to attend; however, registration is required. We also ask each participant to bring two canned food items to support our local food banks. 
We’re proud to have many of our local nonprofit organizations in attendance, sharing information about the resources available right here in our community.
This is more than a meal—it’s a conversation starter, a perspective shift, and a chance to come together and make a difference.
