Event Description:
The annual February Freeze 5K Run/Walk will be held on Sunday, February 9th, 2020 at Founder's park. This is an event to kick-off National Cardiac Rehab week and promote awareness of heart disease and prevention. Registration will be the day of the race from 10:30-11:45AM and the race starts at noon. Long sleeve t-shirts are available to purchase at Cardiac Services 8AM-4:30PM Monday- Friday for $20. Limited quantities available on race day. Event refreshments will be available and door prizes will be drawn immediately after the race- must be present to win! We plan on starting the race at Founder’s Park and going through Sioux park and finishing back at Founder’s Park. After the race we hope to utilize the facilities for a raffle and door prize give away. We’d also like to have picnic tables set up again this year and bathrooms for participants to use.
