Event Description:
Join us for a free public science talk by Dr. Sukanya Chakrabarti from University of Alabama Huntsville. Dr. Chakrabarti will dive into how astronomers map the distribution of dark matter in our universe and cover recent discoveries like the new evidence of a dark matter clump near our sun. This event will occur in the Meier Hall Auditorium at Black Hills State University in Spearfish. It is free and open to the public, and anybody is welcome to join!
