Deadwood History, Inc. will host a book signing with author and filmmaker Thadd Turner, on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Adams Museum, 54 Sherman Street, Deadwood. Thadd Turner wrote the non-fiction book "Wild Bill Hickok: Deadwood City End of Trail" published in 2001, his screenplay "The Hard Ride" is inspired by his book about Wild Bill Hickok. He was a past contributing editor to the award-winning national publication "True West" Magazine and was a historical technical advisor for the pilot episode of the HBO® "Deadwood" series.
