Auditions for More Than Gold, the "jukebox" musical celebrating Lead's first 150 years, will be held June 1 and June 2, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on the Main Stage of the Homestake Opera House. More Than Gold was written by Terrence Smith and Todd Jones and showcases the music written in Lead over its 150 years, including The Black Hills Waltz, The Black Hills March, Under the Pines in the Moonlight, and a brand-new song written specifically for this show! The show will be directed by Shirlene Joseph with musical direction by Dylan Lewis! The show date is July 2, 2026, and will be part of Lead's 150th Celebration.
