Job Description
Reporting to the Project Manager, the General Clerk will assist with all administration duties including but not limited to coordinating travel, payroll records (timesheets, spreadsheets, hiring documents, employee files etc.), mailings, reporting, scheduling meetings, expense reports and maintaining the office and supplies. This position is expected to work an 8 hour shift on a 5:2 schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required) and/or post-secondary education (preferred).
  • 2+ years in office administration or related function.
  • Experience preparing, sending and receiving memos, emails, reports and associated documents.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Adobe Acrobat).
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team.
  • Have a positive attitude and keep a solution-based and (internal and external) client-focused mindset at all times.
  • Writes clearly and informatively; able to read and interpret written information.
  • Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
