Name: Film Screening: No Small Matter
Date: September 26, 2019
Time: 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM MDT
Event Description:
Join Black Hills READS and The United Way of the Black Hills for a screening of No Small Matter, a community conversation. No Small Matter is the first feature documentary to explore the most overlooked, underestimated, and powerful force for good in America today: early childhood education. Through poignant stories and surprising humor, the film lays out the overwhelming evidence for the importance of the first five years, and reveals how our failure to act on that evidence has resulted in an everyday crisis for American families, and a slow-motion catastrophe for the country.  Black Hills READS and The United Way are working to bring communities together with resources and funding to support childhood learning. Will you be part of the effort?
