Black Hills Cowboy Christmas It's the 10th year of the Black Hills Cowboy Christmas Concerts & Dance! One of the area’s most highly anticipated events of the year. Nearly 1,500 guests travel from across the region to enjoy 15 award-winning musicians, singers, and storytellers from across South Dakota, WY, and MT. All seats are reserved. Tickets are available now for $35 to $50 each. Three performances are featured: - Saturday, Dec. 14 matinee at 2:00 pm. - Saturday, Dec. 14 evening show at 7:30 pm with down-home country music dance by The Wilt Brothers and members of the cast. - Sunday, Dec. 15 matinee show at 2:00 pm. This year’s award-winning performer lineup includes: Paul Larson, co-organizer and cowboy musician of Rochford, SD Kenny Putnam, South Dakota fiddler champion, Rapid City, SD Boyd Bristow, singer/guitarist/songwriter of Sioux Falls, SD Trinity Seely, singer/guitarist/songwriter of Cascade, MT Jami Lynn, Black Hills singer/songwriter, Spearfish, SD Brent Morris, singer/guitarist of Hill City, SD Chet Murray, singer/pianist/bassist of Rapid City, SD Sarah Carlson, co-organizer and vocalist of Lead, SD Robert Dennis, cowboy poet/guitarist of Red Owl, SD Shiloh Hewitt, singer/songwriter/guitarist of Mud Butte, SD Chuck Larsen, comedian emcee/cowboy poet of Hulett, WY Yvonne Hollenbeck, champion cowgirl poet of Clearfield, SD Dance provided by The Wilt Brothers Band of Rapid City, SD and the cast musicians Our stage is a sight to behold, filled with 30 majestic towering ponderosa pines and white aspens, plus performers and instruments – including our Yamaha grand piano. Wine, beer, soda, and water is available for purchase. The Historic Homestake Opera House Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to returning Lead’s Historic Opera House to productive use for the enrichment of the community and to provide cultural opportunities for generations to come.
