Custer-based author and photographer Paul Horsted reveals his latest project of “re-photography” in 24 National Parks during this presentation. Over the past five years, Horsted tracked down more than 170 historic photo sites in National Parks across the country (including three in South Dakota and Wyoming). From well-known scenic overlooks to the most remote backcountry locations, he uncovered surprising changes and amazing similarities between “then and now” in America’s National Parks. A book will be released in December. The public forum will be held at the Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center (HARCC); 12:00 p.m.; admission by donation.
