Name: Caring for Camber - Silent Auction Fundraiser
Date: January 29, 2017
Time: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM MST
Event Description:
Silent auction fundraiser from 3pm - 6pm. Cash only event so plan accordingly. Must be present to win silent auction items. Pulled pork sandwiches with sides will be available for purchase by donation. More than likely, we have all loved or lost someone to cancer. Precious Camber is only two months old and has his whole life ahead of him. Camber is the son of Katie Melcher & Craig Conn and grandson of Moe & Kurt Melcher of Lead and Randy Conn of Deadwood. On December 19, 2016, Camber was life-flighted to Children’s Hospital of Colorado where he has been diagnosed with metastasized cancer on the brain, liver and kidneys. They have also discovered odd spots on his skin. At this time, a biopsy has been performed on the tumor and the doctors are trying to pinpoint what is going on with little Camber. The doctors are doing what they can and TOGETHER, we can help Katie by making her life a little more comfortable knowing that she doesn’t need to worry about the monetary aspects of life and just focus on her sweet baby boy. An account has been set up at Wells Fargo in Deadwood under Katie Melcher/Camber Conn benefit. For more information, contact Kathy at 605-578-7737.
